This baker features two separate cast-aluminium panels connected by a central hinge, each measuring 18 cm in diameter with a thickness of 2.2 mm. Both panels have a non-stick coating on their inner faces, ensuring effortless release of cooked egg rolls and easy cleaning. The dual-panel design allows you to cook two items simultaneously—perfect for making larger batches in less time. The central handle is 22 cm long, made from stainless steel with a silicone grip, enabling you to flip the entire unit without risk of burns. To use, place the baker over a gas burner, preheat for three minutes, pour batter onto the lower panel, close the upper panel using the handle, and flip the whole device to cook the reverse side evenly. A locking clip secures the two panels during flipping, preventing any batter from spilling out. Cooking time is about 45 seconds per side. The double panels also work well for making toasted sandwiches, quesadillas, and panini. After use, allow the baker to cool, then wipe the non-stick surfaces with a damp cloth; hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended. Do not use metal utensils on the coating.
