Description
This baking plate is a flat, circular cooking surface with a diameter of 20 cm, made from pressed aluminium with a thickness of 2.2 mm. It features a non-stick coating on both sides, allowing you to use it for different types of batters without sticking. The plate is designed to be used on a gas or electric stovetop, and it does not have a hinged lid—you cook by pouring batter onto the hot surface and flipping manually with a spatula. One side of the plate is smooth for egg rolls and pancakes, while the other side has a waffle grid pattern for cones. The handle is a detachable stainless-steel rod, 14 cm long, with a wooden grip that you can attach to the plate before cooking. To use, attach the handle, preheat the plate over a medium flame, choose your preferred side, pour batter, and spread it with a spatula. Cook until golden, then flip and cook the other side briefly. For cones, the grid pattern creates a textured surface that rolls easily into a cone shape using a separate cone former. The detachable handle makes storage convenient, as the plate can be laid flat in a drawer. After use, wash the plate with warm soapy water and a soft sponge; dry thoroughly before storing.
